Final Figma Prototype

This project was the first professional instance of getting to work as a UX Designer in creating a new website for Dealermade Photo Studios. The role and responsibilities included communicating with the client, researching industry trends, and designing a user-friendly platform that showcases the business's services and products.

The Problem

The original Dealermade website had not had a refresh after several years, content had piled up without a narrative, resulting in a webpage that was confusing, unengaging, and lack of brand identity.

The Solution

After meeting with the Dealermade team, we identified the core product and narrative center, studied the competition, and then realigned the brand and site architecture. This led to clear website navigation, increased client demos with SEO optimization, and a stronger professional brand.

Competitor Analysis

The competitor analysis reveals that Dealermade can enhance its website by streamlining its narrative for clarity and improving the overall user interface and visual design to match the outstanding performance of competitors like 360 Booth and Impel. This includes addressing initial confusion, organizing content more effectively, and adopting a cohesive and engaging design language to elevate user experience.

Branding

Using simple, strong, san-serif typefaces, with a clean color palette working of their initial color scheme aligned Dealermade to stand out in the auto dealer potential client base.

User Personas

Before starting on prototypes, we went over current demographics of existing clients and users. Identified pain points, and sketched through user journeys.
